THE CREW
Ray has been skippering racing and cruising boats in Australia for over 40 years and Annette has been involved with boats for over 30 years. Throughout his years as a racing boat skipper, Ray has won numerous Championships in a range of different classes of yachts. Through the 80's and 90's he often raced in rough conditions off the Western Australian coast, in 36' yachts with 8-10 crew members. During this time he won many races, including the Blue Water Championship title for Western Australian offshore racing for the 1994 season. In recent years he has concentrated more on relaxed sailing for enjoyment, rather than top level racing.
Ray and Annette came for a sailing holiday to the Ionian Islands in 2001, fell in love with the islands and the people, and have been back every chance they have had since. They wish to share their love of the islands with others as they sail around beautiful Corfu, Paxos, Ithaca, Kephalonia, Levkas and many of the other wonderful islands, as well as the west coast on mainland northern Greece.
It is not necessary to have any sailing experience - Ray will encourage you to take the helm and help around the deck as much or as little as you like. It is completely your choice, as our main concern is for you to have a most enjoyable holiday.BARE BOAT SAILING
